Setting:
  • 18Hz binaural beta beat
  • music and placebo music without beat

80 participants heard binaural and placebo before driving

Goal: Find out the effect of Binaural Beats on driver fatigue

Findings:
Increase of subjective and physiological performance levels. Decrease of average fatigue levels

EEG shows significant increase of beta activity in the cortex – even 100 minutes after stimulation.

No negative side effects were observed.
